Maine Living History Association cordially invites you to their Victorian Fashion Show.

See fashions of men, women, and children. See a soldiers uniform. Learn the secrets under the hoop!

Enjoy a period treat with a cup of tea as you listen to music of the day.

River Roads Artisans Gallery 'Grand Re-Opening'

River Roads Artisans Gallery is celebrating its third season in Downtown Skowhegan. We cordially invite you to our "Grand Re-Opening" featuring the work of 23 local Maine Artists and Artisans. Artwork featured includes pottery, jewelry, paintings, wood products, fabric art, rock art, baskets, photography, stained glass, metal work, and more! To thank our loyal Central Maine Community, we are serving appetizers and beverages and will have Door Prize drawings. We are hosting local cheese maker, Amy Rowbottom Clark, of "Crooked Face Creamery" in Norridgewock.

Applications for WLBZ 2 Sidewalk Art Festival now available.

(NEWS CENTER)-- Applications for artists to participate are now available for the 2012 WLBZ 2 Sidewalk Art Festival.  The festival  will be held on Saturday, August 4 in downtown Bangor (rain date Sunday, August 5). 

The festival will return to its familar layout in Westmarket Square, all of Broad Street, Pickering Square, Merchant's Plaza Street and the pedestrian walkway over the Kenduskeag Stream. 

This year will once again feature a special exhibit rate for art students and the return of a People's Choice Award-- a $700 cash award given to the artist who receives the most votes from the attending public, and a $250 Emerging Artist Award for participating art students. 

Artists who wish to participate may download the WLBZ 2 Sidewalk Art Festival application and return by July 15.  The fee for this year's show remains at $75 for

The Creatorium- Rockland's first indie craft show... just in time for the holiday
Holiday Craft Fair
Friday Dec. 2nd from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
&
Saturday Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
@ the Lincoln Street Center Rockland's first indie craft show...
just in time for the holiday.

This will not be the church craft fair that you went to last year...trying to decide between the wooden geese, doilies and the rayon yarn vests in red and green.

This will be the juried creatives fair of Rockland, where artists, artisans, craftspeople, and foodies can sell their wares to folks who are looking for the perfect gift for friends, family and coworkers.  Maybe for themselves, too! 

We will be located in the gym of the Lincoln Street Center, 24 Lincoln Street, with over 50 booths!

We are thrilled to have the 2011 show at the historic State Theatre hosted by Myq Kaplan of Last Comic Standing fame. Purchase your tickets and enjoy a night of fine commercial art, good food and even better laughs!

Individual tickets, six or eight top tables available. Hour d’oeuvres are included for both, with drink service at tables only. There will be a cash bar for both.

Purchased tickets can be picked up at the Broderson’s gallery at 611 Congress Street before the show.
