Three arrested on copper theft charges in Somerset County | News

ANSON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Sheriff's Deputies in Somerset County have arrested three people who they say were stealing copper piping from a number of homes.
At about four Sunday morning, deputies were called to a burglary at an unoccupied home on Main Street in Anson. They found evidence leading to another home just down the road.
There, they found stolen copper piping, other metals, tools and household items.
They believe the items represent a number of different cases.
Deputies say Leon King violated his probation and he and Genevieve King are facing charges of burglary.
Joshua Vincent is facing charges of Burglary, Theft and Violation of Conditions of Release... He was on a home release jail program.
More charges in the case are likely.
