The Skowhegan Parks & Recreation Department is currently accepting registrations for all of our summer Camps & Clinics. The start dates are fast approaching and some are filling up so register today so you don't get left out.
Basketball, baseball, soccer, football, cheering, rugby, field hockey and the Outdoor Adventure Program are some of the exciting summer programs available.

SVH Announces New Board Members

Sebasticook Valley Health (SVH) is pleased to welcome two past SVH employees to its current board of trustees. Linda Woolley, who joined the board in November 2013, served as director of SVH Care at Home/Sebasticook Valley HomeCare from 2002 to 2006, and Sharon Foster, RN, who is slated to begin this May, was a community health educator from 1998 until 2001.

“I am very happy to welcome Linda and Sharon to the SVH Board of Trustees,” stated Terri Vieira, SVH CEO and senior vice president of EMHS. “Sebasticook Valley Health is proud to be led by community volunteers, and we value the time and commitment our trustees offer our organization on behalf of all the people in our region.”

CROHN'S COLITIS Take Steps Walk

Take Steps is the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America’s national walk program. These walks raise funds for critical research and increase awareness of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, painful and unpredictable digestive diseases. Thousands of people will gather this year at 170 Take Steps walks nationwide to join the fight against Crohn’s and colitis. The walks are family friendly festivals with activities for everyone including games, music, and great food. Funds raised through Take Steps will help transform the lives of those impacted by these diseases.
